DUCSA Bunkers is the commercial departament for bunkering in DUCSA.

DUCSA is a company which belongs to the Uruguayan State. In its composition 99% is from ANCAP and 1%  from PetroUruguay S.A. (which is another ANCAP company) and it is regulated by the same laws that apply to private companies. ANCAP is the National Refinery www.ancap.com.uy which has the importation and production crude oil monopoly in Uruguay.

DUCSA started its activities on 2nd May 2001 with the main objective of distributing ANCAP fuels and lubricants. Almost four years later, in January 2005; it undertook another challenge, the distribution of ANCAP`s liquid Peroleum Gas. Subsequently, in June  2007, DUCSA bought the retail network of Texaco in Uruguay, and added Texaco Lubricants to its portfolio.

We are glad to point out that at the moment, DUCSA´s participation in the fuel and lubricant market in the country has grown to 60%. Moreover, in December 2007, with the objective to continue growing DUCSA has started activities in Bunkers Market.

At the moment our participation in Bunkers Market is 25,5 %. Taking into account only  the Marine Gas Oil, our market share is  21 % and in the fuel market  is 28%.
